Independent perspective. Global context.
What Nove.news is
Nove.news is a bilingual news and analysis site, in English and Bulgarian, covering world affairs, business, technology, travel, sport and health. We try to explain what happened, where the evidence is thin and what it may mean. We keep news and interpretation apart, label both, and link the sources we used.
Who is behind it
Nove.news is owned and published by QUINTA JSC, a Bulgarian company (registered as „КУИНТА“ АД), UIC 206573375, with registered office at 94 Tsaribrodska St., floor 3, Vazrazhdane District, Sofia 1309, Bulgaria. It is led by Peter Rizov, who is responsible for its editorial standards. Peter has more than 25 years of experience in telecommunications, financial institutions and energy.
How it started
Nove.news began as Industry Watch, a section of novesim.com where we wrote about telecom and travel connectivity. It grew into a publication of its own, with a wider range of subjects and a second language.
Our link to NoveSIM
QUINTA JSC also operates NoveSIM, a travel eSIM service covering more than 190 destinations. That is a commercial interest, and we would rather state it than leave readers to work it out.
When an article concerns travel connectivity, eSIM, mobile roaming or companies that compete with NoveSIM, we say so in the article. Paid or sponsored material, if we ever publish it, is labelled and kept separate from editorial work.
The two projects share one idea. NoveSIM's brand line is "Honestly connected", and we apply the same standard here: readers should know what they are being told, who is telling them, and what the teller has at stake.
How we use AI
We use AI tools to help draft and translate. Articles carry a note when AI assistance was material. Names, dates, figures and quotations are checked against the linked sources before publication, and we do not claim a human review that has not taken place. The details are in our editorial standards.
