A four-hour local strike is scheduled at Bari Airport today, 6 November, according to Italian air-navigation provider ENAV. The announced window is 13:00–17:00 Italian time, or 14:00–18:00 in Bulgaria.
The action was called by Fast Confsal AV and announced by ENAV on 30 October. The provider says essential services will be guaranteed under the applicable rules. This is a local airport action, not an announcement that all Italian air traffic will stop.
A strike notice is not a cancellation list
The notice establishes the time and place of the action. It does not identify every affected flight or confirm that a particular service has been cancelled. Airlines may adjust schedules, while protected services can operate under the relevant arrangements.
Passengers travelling to or from Bari should therefore check the airline’s current flight status and booking messages. An airport-wide announcement cannot replace information about the specific flight number and departure date.
Connections need a second check
A change to the first leg can affect an onward connection even when that later flight operates normally. Travellers should keep booking details and any airline notifications available when asking for rebooking information.
The immediate practical task is to verify the itinerary before leaving for the airport and again if a change is announced. This morning report describes a planned action; it does not claim delays or cancellations have already occurred. Any later operational update should be based on the airport, airline or provider’s confirmed information.
