Paris Saint-Germain overwhelmed Villarreal 6–0 away on 3 November, while Barcelona beat Aston Villa 3–0 in another emphatic result from the fourth round of the Champions League league phase.

PSG settled their match almost immediately. João Neves, Désiré Doué and Senny Mayulu scored before Fabián Ruiz made it 4–0 inside the opening 17 minutes. Ruiz added a second after the interval, and a late sixth goal completed the rout.

The victory gives Paris four wins from four league-phase matches and 12 points. It also extends a high-scoring start that included victories over Slovan Bratislava, Manchester City and Barcelona. Four rounds still remain, so the result strengthens their position without completing the qualification picture.

Elsewhere, Bayern Munich won 2–0 at Atlético Madrid and Manchester United edged Roma 3–2. Inter beat Feyenoord 3–0, while Sporting won 1–0 away to Shakhtar Donetsk.

The round continues on 4 November. AEK against Real Madrid and Fenerbahçe against Liverpool are among the early fixtures, scheduled for 19:45 Bulgarian time. The later programme begins at 22:00.

Under the league-phase format, every result affects a shared table rather than a four-team group. The top eight advance directly to the round of 16; teams placed ninth to 24th enter play-offs. That makes goal difference and the remaining schedule important alongside the points already collected.
